Shoring is known to be the construction of the temporary structure for supporting the temporarily unsafe structure. The shoring wall helps to support the original wall later on. Shoring can also be used when the walls of the house usually bulge out when the walls crack due to the unequal settlement of the foundation as well as repairs which are used to be carried out of the cracked wall. When the adjacent structure needs to be pulled down, openings are known to be newly made or enlarged in the wall. What types of Shores are available and when they are used? 1.
